DescriptionDELTA TRESTLE BRIDGE, PEACH BOTTOM TOWNSHIP, YORK COUNTY, PA.jpg
English: MARYLAND AND PENNSYLVANIA RAILROAD WOODEN TRESTLE BUILT IN 1875 AND IS 393 FEET LONG AND IS THE ONLY BRIDGE TO SURVIVE FROM THE ORIGINAL RAILROAD.
REF. #95000550; IT SHOULD BE NOTED THAT THIS BRIDGE IS VERY DIFFICULT TO FIND AND DIFFICULT TO PHOTOGRAPH. MAPS SHOW IT NEAR BUNKER HILL ROAD HOWEVER BUNKER HILL ROAD ENDS ABRUPTLY AFTER CROSSING MAIN STREET IN DELTA AND ONLY A PEDESTRIAN PATH LEADS THROUGH THE WOOD TO WITHIN SIGHT OF THE BRIDGE. IT LOOKS TO BE DETERIORATING AND IS NO LONGER IN SERVICE.
