Deutsch: Das am 17. Mai 1967 vom Lüneburger Regierungspräsidenten zuletzt verliehene Wappen erinnert durch das Schwert an den seit 1893 bestehenden Militärstandort Munster. Der Drache nimmt Bezug auf das hiesige Kirchenpatronat durch den hl. Michael, dessen Attribut der Drache war. Zuerst wurde das vom Heraldiker Heinrich Giseke entworfene Wappen vom Oberpräsidenten in Hannover am 4. März 1937 verliehen; allerdings in leicht veränderter Form mit goldenem Schild und goldgereiftem Schwert.
