Object history
Deutsch: Der Johannesadler ist dem Wappen des Stiftes Neumünster in Würzburg entnommen, das seit dem 13. Jahrhundert im Besitz von Tauberrettersheim belegt ist. Das Stift hatte zu dieser Zeit die Vogtei sowie seit dem 15. Jahrhundert umfangreichen Grundbesitz im Gemeindegebiet. Die Brücke über die Tauber stellt das bekannteste Bauwerk der Gemeinde dar. Sie wurde 1716 errichtet und 1733 von Balthasar Neumann verändert. Die Weintraube weist auf den bedeutenden traditionsreichen Weinbau im Gemeindegebiet hin.
