| Description |
English: This is the official car of a DIG (Deputy Inspector General) of Police in India. It has a triangular flag as well as one star (on the blue box). Both these features indicate that the car belongs to a DIG rank police officer.
Note 1- A similar blue box having a star is present on the back-side of the car. Note 2- I have blackened the number plate as well as the security passes stuck on the front screen. I have also coloured up the flag. All this has been done for security and privacy reasons. Note 3- The colour of beacon (on the top of car) as well as the colour & logo of flag vary for the police forces of different states of India. Note 4- While this photo features an Ambassador car, now the police forces buy SUV's and Sedans for senior police officers. |
