Low resolution? |
The copy is of sufficient resolution for commentary and identification but lower resolution than the original image. Copies made from it will be of inferior quality, unsuitable as artwork on pirate versions or other uses that would compete with the commercial purpose of the original artwork. |
Purpose of use |
Identification and critical commentary in the Adam Chandler article, a subject of public interest. The image confirms to readers they have reached the correct article, and illustrates the character. |
Replaceable? |
No free alternative could be created to illustrate the topic in question. David Canary is recently deceased, the show is no longer made, and a new one is unlikely. A free contemporary image would not convey the same information. |

Fair use in Adam Chandler
editThis image is of the actual person, David Canary, and this article discusses the fictional character of All My Children, Adam Chandler. This image is used in this article to:
- Signify David Canary's contributions to All My Children as Adam Chandler
- Identify, represent, depict, and visualize David Canary as Adam Chandler;
- Identify the fictional character, Adam Chandler, at this of his appearances, especially in his stunning business suit;
- Visualize and depict Adam Chandler, especially at his facial expression
David Canary had portrayed both Adam Chandler and Stuart Chandler, fictional twins of All My Children, for many years. I, George Ho, acknowledge this image as of David Canary and his portrayer, Adam Chandler, and will not and shall not acknowledge it as merely anybody else, including another fictional character, in any other way. This image must not and shall not be used for the Stuart Chandler article, as Adam and Stuart are both different characters, and this image is untrue to Stuart Chandler.
Moreover, Adam Chandler has been portrayed by only David Canary for years, and no other actor has portrayed Adam Chandler. Image of any other actual person is untrue and unfair to this fictional character and does not actually represent and depict this character.
Other Commons-qualified images of David Canary do not truly represent Adam Chandler, as well, as using them is unfair and untrue to this character. Therefore, this image is irreplaceable, as no free alternatives or substitutes may replace this image.
