De voorste herder heeft een grote koperen kan meegenomen, een herdersjongen draagt een mand met eieren en een derde heeft een schaap onder de arm. Op de achtergrond rechts herders met muziekinstrumenten. Boven de heilige familie engeltjes met een banderol.
