Description
Nederlands: De rijke man en de arme Lazarus. Het verhaal wordt verbeeld in een keuken waar een maaltijd wordt voorbereid. Rechts de bedelaar Lazarus die door honden wordt aangevallen. Hierachter de rijkaard aan tafel waar muzikanten spelen. In de keuken kijkt een aap toe hoe een kip wordt geplukt, in het midden werkt een vrouw met een vijzel. Op de voorgrond liggen vissen, eieren en groenten. Het schilderij is verwant aan een prent van Johannes Sadeler I, naar een schilderij van Bassano.
