Description
English: An aerial view of unit 6E of the U.S. Navy James River Reserve Fleet on 5 October 1993. It included two transport ships (left), three Charles F. Adams-class and four Farragut-class guided missile destroyers and the Gearing class destroyer USS William C. Lawe (DD-763), fourth from the right. Lawe was later sunk as a target on 14 July 1999. The other destroyers were sold for scrap.
