Čeština: "Vejdeš-li do posvátného okrsku, uvidíš kovového býka, dílo aigínského Theopropa, dar Korkýrských. V Korkýře se kdysi oddělil býk od ostatních dobytčat ve stádě a sestoupil z pastvy až k moři, kde počal bučet. Když pak totéž prováděl den co den, odebral se k moři i pastýř a tu spatřil nesčíslné množství tuňáků. Ihned to oznámil Korkyřanům ve městě, ale oni se nadarmo pokoušeli tuňáky polapit, i pošlou zeptat se do Delf. Také obětují Poseidónovi onoho býka a hned po oběti ryby pochytají.
