Summary

Description
English: Dinting Railway Viaduct came into regular use in 1844. Its original track-carrying top-piece consisted of wooden arches, but these soon had to be replaced by the straight iron structure which remains today. The photograph is dated 1916, before the additional brick piers of the 1920s destroyed the symmetry of the viaduct.
