English: A basic view of the workings of a clicker type torque wrench. This particular type is probably the simplest, it uses a cubic pawl as the detente directly in contact with the drive head and spring cam.
Français : Principe de fonctionnement d'une clé dynamométrique à réarmement automatique. Le mécanisme consiste à appliquer une force sur le carré par le biais du ressort de réglage. Une fois le couple atteint, le carré bascule laissant le bras de levier relié à la tête heurter la paroi du tube principal, l'utilisateur entend un "clac" et ressent un a-coup dans sa main.
