English: The Dublin Courthouse. Formerly the Richmond Surgical Hospital (1810), Channel Row (North Brunswick Street), Dublin 7. It was established by the Dublin House of Industry (after 1838 the North Dublin Union) located near the same site (just north of here). It was rebuilt in 1900. They used to perform leucotomies (lobotomies) here on patients resident in the nearby Grangegorman Mental Hospital (formerly the Richmond District Asylum and later St. Brendan's Hospital).
