English: East Des Moines Union Depot, 120 E. Fifth St., Des Moines, Iowa. Built in 1909 by William H. Brereton (1859-1921) for the Des Moines Union Railway, it also served the Wabash Railroad, Chicago Great Western Railway, Chicago Burlington Quincy Railroad, and the Des Moines, Iowa Falls & Northern Railway. The depot was used into the 1920s and converted into cold storage for tomatoes in the 1950s as an annex of the Tee Pee Tomato Company. The depot is now owned by the Des Moines Heritage Trust.
