"The Midnight Sun" war ab der 1990er Jahre bis zur Geschäftsaufgabe 2008, eine bei schwulen Skins beliebte schwule Fetischbar in Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg, zeitweise mit gleichnamigen Filialen in Köln und Wien. Neben dem regulären Barbetrieb fanden in "The Midnight Sun" verschiedene Sexparties statt, wie beispielsweise "After-Work-Party" am Dienstag, oder "Bastard Sundays" an Sonntagen.
Nach 2008 wurde die Bar weitergeführt unter dem Namen "Stahlrohr 2.0", nach der zuvor in der nahe gelegenen Greifenhagener Straße geschossenen Bar "Stahlrohr". "Stahlrohr 2.0" ist mittlerweile geschlossen, und das Lokal steht leer. (Stand 03/2022)

From the 1990s until it closed in 2008, "The Midnight Sun" in Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg was a gay fetish bar popular with gay skins. It also had eponymous locations in Cologne and Vienna. In addition to the bar's regular opening hours, "The Midnight Sun" organized recurrent sex parties like the "After-Work-Party" on Tuesdays, and the "Bastard Sundays" on Sundays.
After 2008 the bar was run under the name "Stahlrohr 2.0" after the recently closed bar "Stahlrohr" on nearby Greifenhagener Straße. "Stahlrohr 2.0" has since closed and the premises are empty. (Situation 03/2022)
