Summary

Description
English: "Church services form an important part of camp life in UNRRA's biggest refugee camp in the Middle East, where 20,000 Yugoslav partisans now await return to their homeland. These people brought their priests with them, most of them fought along with the refugees in the mountains of Bosnia against the Nazis. Though active partisans, they have not lost sight of their religion and the church, though in reality just a tent, has been made real with an air of simplicity and devotion. Old and young alike receive communion." Library of Congress collection www.loc.gov/pictures/collection/coll/item/2005675128/
