English: Energy Ball (Type: V100) by Svenska Home Energy is a small wind turbine with a rotor with six blades that surrounds the generator itself. With this rotor design, Energy Ball should deliver energy even at low wind speeds (from 2-3 m / s).
Energy Ball V100 has a diameter of almost 1 meter and must be mounted on a freestanding mast with a total height of 10 or 12 meters. At a wind speed of 19 m / s, the Energy Ball V100 should deliver its maximum power, which is 525W. At an average wind speed of 4 m / s, the annual energy output of the energy ball is about 100 kW / h. The price for an energy ball is (inclusive) about 5,000 euros (7,300 dollars). According to the manufacturer, the life expectancy of the Energy Ball is 20 years.
