Description
English: The formidable British Challenger 2 MBT of the 1st Royal Tank Regiment, glides effortlessly across the soft sand with the low evening light of the Omani landscape glinting off the desert camouflage. During Exercise Saif Sareea 3, Arabic for "Swift Sword 3", UK military personnel trained with Omani Forces. The exercise involved around 5500 UK military personnel and, the joint exercise with Omani Forces, was the largest training activity by UK armed forces in the region for nearly 20 years.
