The Challenger 2 has been Britain’s primary Main Battle Tank since 1998 and nearly 450 have been built.
Based on its registration number, this is the seventh prototype Challenger 2 and was used in the original 1992 trials.
It has recently been put on display as a gate guard at the National Army Museum in Chelsea, London.
