Former Brethren Meeting Room, 145 Vale Avenue, Patcham, City of Brighton and Hove, England. Built in 1965 and closed in about 2009 after the Sussex Vale Gospel Hall Trust (owners of this building) were granted planning permission to build a new place of worship in the nearby village of Albourne. The Trust accordingly sought planning permission to demolish this building in 2011. On the date the photograph was taken, the statutory three-week period for interested parties to register their support or objection to the planning application was about to elapse. Update: a visit to the site in December 2012 indicated that the building had recently been demolished. Planning permission has been granted for the construction of nine houses here.
