Summary
| Description |
English: Site of the former gas station in the median of the Northern State Parkway just west of Exits 43 (SCR 4) as seen from the eastbound lanes in Commack, New York. The gas station which was closed in 1985 was located in the median, and was somewhat far east of Exits 42 N-S (NYS Route 231, Suffolk CR 35, and Suffolk CR 66). It was also east of the never built Exits 42 A-B for the Babylon-Northport Expressway. Just as with the former gas station on the Southern State Parkway in North Amityville, capturing this station has been proven difficult from a moving car. |
