English: Fort Buenaventura replica as seen from Sand Hill. The replica sits on the same location as the original fort, which was built by Miles Goodyear and his business partner Captain Wells in the fall of 1846. The replica was built by the State of Utah between 1979–1980. The replica and surrounding park sit just west of downtown Ogden, Utah.
