English: Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari. Chapel Bernardo. Under the altar table is a reliquary statue of Blessed Gentile da Matelica, a minor brother who died as a martyr in Persia on 5 September 1340. His body was brought back to Venice by Marco Corner. The Brother had predicted his dogat.
