Die Skulptur auf dem Friedhof in Friedrichroda wurde 1989 vom Friedrichrodaer Metallbildhauer Günter Reichert (1934-2009) geschaffen. Die 135 kleinen, unterschiedlich hohen Steln symbolisieren die Menschen, die unter den Trümmern ihrer Häuser starben.
