English: Decapod 209 and caboose depart the yard at Athens, GA. in 1956. The Midland operated for forty miles of track between Gainesville and Fowler Junction plus two miles of trackage rights over the Seaboard Air Line to Athens. 2-10-0 209 came from SAL and was built by Baldwin in 1930.
