English: Pile of stones taken from the dismantled Woodland Avenue gatehouse, near Sections 85 and 86 at Woodland Cemetery in Cleveland, Ohio, in the United States. The cemetery is a public, secular cemetery established in 1853. The cemetery was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986, and is both an Ohio and Cleveland historic landmark.
The gatehouse was designed by architect Joseph Ireland, and erected in 1870. It suffered a fire in the early 1980s, and was dismantled in 1996. The stones were piled on top of a mound at the cemetery. In 2011, the Cleveland City Council authorized funding for restoration of the gatehouse. But as of early 2017, the only work that had been done was numbering of the stones.
