Description A Brazilian Navy Gearing-class destroyer during exercise Unitas XIX in 1978. Brazil operated two Gearing-class destroyers since 1973: Marcílio Dias (D25) (ex-USS Henry W. Tucker (DD-875)) and Mariz e Barros (D26) (ex-USS Brinkley Bass (DD-887)). Note the Westland Wasp helicopter on the flight deck.
