Nederlands: Gezicht op Den Haag, vanaf de Delftse vaart. Links loopt een weg langs het water waar een molen staat en enkele wandelaars lopen. Voorstudie voor het schilderij (SK-A-4870) vervaardigd ter opluistering van de feesten gehouden op 27 mei 1852 bij de gelegenheid van de onthulling van het standbeeld van Rembrandt.
