Deutsch: Der Einblattholzschnitt von Hans Glaser von 1554 zeigt das brennende Kulmbach am 26. November 1553, dem so genannten Konraditag. Die Stadt wurde nach kurzer Belagerung während eines Sturmangriffs im zweiten Markgrafenkrieg aufgegeben, von den eigenen Truppen angezündet und fast völlig zerstört. Die Festung Plassenburg hielt sich noch sieben Monate. Der Text des Holzschnitts lautet: „Das Schloß Blassenburg, sampt der verbrenten stat Kulmbach. Welche Markgraf Albrecht Kriegsvolck im abzug selbst anzündet haben mit aller gelegenhait“
