English: A en:glider instrument panel installed in the front seat position of a en:Schempp-Hirth Janus-C (there is a separate panel in the rear seat posioton). From top, left to right: en:yaw string (red yarn), en:magnetic compass (above glare shield), air vent control knob, en:airspeed indicator, electric en:turn and bank indicator, sensitive en:altimeter, en:stopwatch, pneumatic switches, Ilec SN-10 glider flight computer (coupled to GPS receiver not visible), analog en:variometer displays (connected to computer), Rocky Mountain Instruments MicroEncoder (with digital ASI, Alt, OAT, and VSI display), MicroAir en:airbanden:two-way radio. The control stick mounted wheel-brake handle is visible at the bottom center between the pilot's legs. The image was taken by the pilot while in flight, so the instruments are showing typical indications, and the yaw string and slip skid ball show a slight side slip.
