Summary

Description

Grevillea confertifolia is a shrub species which is endemic to the Grampians in western Victoria, in Australia.

It has a low spreading or erect habit, growing to 1 metre high. The leaves are linear or narrow-oblong elliptic. Flowers appear between August and December (late winter to early summer) in its native range. These have reddish purple perianths with pink or reddish mauve styles.

The species was first formally described in 1855 by the Government Botanist of Victoria Ferdinand von Mueller in Transactions of the Philosophical Society of Victoria. His description was based on a collection from the summit of Mount William and on nearby rocky ridges.
