English: Oil painting Großes Waldbild (“Large whale picture”) from the year 1669 by the german painter Franz Wulfhagen (1624–1670), located in the town hall of Bremen, Germany. The picture shows a northern minke whale (Balaenoptera acutorostrata) stranded on the banks of the river Lesum in 1669.
Deutsch: Ölgemälde Großes Walbild von Franz Wulfhagen (1624–1670) aus dem Jahr 1669, befindlich im der Oberen Halle des Bremer Rathauses. Das Bild zeigt einen Nördlichen Zwergwal (Balaenoptera acutorostrata), der 1669 am Ufer der Lesum gestrandet war und von Bremer Walfänger erlegt wurde.
