English: Gunpowder store, Pace Hill, Seahouses These rocks are shown on OS maps as Pace Hill. They are located just beyond the breakwater on the east side of North Sunderland Harbour at Seahouses and are just above the high tide mark. The curious stone structure with a barrel-vault roof was originally used for gunpowder storage during the extending of North Sunderland Harbour, at Seahouses, in the late 19th century.
