English: Hay Castle. The keep was built c.1200 by Matilda de Breos, although it has been much repaired since. The masion attached to it was built for James Boyle of Hereford c.1660. Hay is of course one of the towns devoted to second-hand book dealers, and a row of bookcases can be seen in the foreground.
