English: The Helix Producer I (HPI) represents a new concept for developing marginal deepwater fields. As the Gulf of Mexico's first Floating Production Unit (FPU) the HPI can produce and export up to 45,000 bbls per day of oil, 60,000 bbls per day of liquids and 80,000 mcf per day of gas. The HPI is also a critcal component of the Helix Fast Response System which is a subsea oil spill response program based on Helix ESG's experience at the Macondo well in 2010.
