Summary

Description The Class 800 bi-mode trains and Class 801 electric trains will be built by Hitachi Rail Europe for the Department for Transport's Intercity Express Programme. The trains will come into service on the Great Western Main Line in 2017 and on the East Coast Main Line in 2018. Manufactured in Newton Aycliffe, County Durham.
