Summary

Description
English: Arms of Holland of Weare, Devon: Azure semée-de-lys argent, a lion rampant of the second (Source: Vivian, Lt.Col. J.L., (Ed.) The Visitation of the County of Devon: Comprising the Heralds' Visitations of 1531, 1564 & 1620, Exeter, 1895, p.475, blazon re-phrased). Pole gives the lion as rampant gardant (Pole, Sir William (d.1635), Collections Towards a Description of the County of Devon, Sir John-William de la Pole (ed.), London, 1791, p.488). "Weare" is today's "Countess Weare" near Exeter, see Pole, p.232. This family was descended from Wikipedia:Robert de Holland, 1st Baron Holand (c. 1283 – 1328), son of Sir Robert de Holland of Upholland, Lancashire. (See Vivian, p.475)
Français : Blasonnement: d'azur semé de fleurs de lys d'argent au lion de même brochant sur le tout.
