English: Nave and west tower of Holy Cross parish church, Basildon, Essex, seen from the south. This is the parish church of the original village of Basildon. The nave is 14th century, the tower was built about 1500 and the chancel (behind the tree on the right) was rebuilt in brick in 1597.
