Summary

Description Hyper-packing is a term that describes the ability of a shape to contain by area more sub-shapes than its own area by overlapping the sub-shapes. The triangle containing 144 smaller triangles is the smallest triangle that can be tiled by the sphinx tile. Of the 830 different sphinx tilings of this triangle 6 are symmetric.
