Long. corporis 16 mm, Deutsch Ostafrika: Nyassa. — Nach einem StiJcke in Professor Hausers Sammlung. Diese hiibsche Art weicht von Callimation nur durch kiirzere FiJhler, kiirzere Beine und grössere untere Augen- lappen ab. Die neulich von Distant beschriebene Arma- tosferna natalensis ist wahrscheinlich = A. Castelnaudi Thoms. 161. Spilotragus crucifer n. sp. — Fig. 45. — Niger, maculis coerulescente-albidis orna- tus, pedibus rufis tarsis infuscatis; scapo quam articulo 3:o antennarum haud breviore; capite impunctato, 8-maculato (singula utrin- que frohtis, genarum, verticis temporumque); fronte transversa; prothorace basi quam apice angustiore, impunctato, maculis 4 subqua- dratis dorsabilus, crucem nigrum includen- tibus, lateribusque fere totis coerulescente tomentosis; scutello transverso e magna parte albido-tomentoso; elytris punctatis, apice ro- tundatis maculis tribus communibus sutura- libus, media majore utrinque incisa, guttisque circiter 9 discalibus et lateralibus coerule- scente-albis ornatis; lateribus sterni abdomi- nisquealbido-maculatis. Long. corporis 10 mm. Englisch Ost-Afrika: Ikutha — Collectio Hauser. Durch die Länge des Fiihlerschaftes und die mehr ge- drungene Körperform weicht diese Art von den iibrigen Spi- iotragus-Arten ab. Die Beine sind kurz und die Hinter- schenkel erreichen nicht die Spitze des zweiten Abdominal- gliedes. 137
