Description
English: Interior of Istanbul's new General Post Office inaugurated in 1909. The two clocks on the wall display the Turkish time ("alaturca saat") and the Western time ("alafranga saat"). This is still Istanbul's main post office. The building also houses the Turkish Postal Museum. Contemporary post card, c. 1910.
