FOSTERFIELDS IS A LIVING HISTORY MUSEUM RUN BY MORRIS TOWNSHIP; IT CONTAINS THE HOUSE BUILT IN 1854 BY GENERAL JOSEPH REVERE, GRANDSON OF PAUL REVERE, WHO WAS COURT-MARTIALED FOR CONTROVERSIAL ACTIONS AT CHANCELLORSVILLE, BUT EXONERATED BY PRESIDENT LINCOLN. CHARLES FOSTER BOUGHT THE FARM IN 1881 AND HIS DAUGHTER DONATED IT TO THE COUNTY PARK COMMISSION IN 1973
