English: James Cumine Parkinson (1832–1887), widely and incorrectly identified as Dr. James Parkinson (1755–1824). Dr. Parkinson died in 1824, and the first photograph of a person was taken in 1839. James Cumine Parkinson came to Australia during the gold rush and became a lighthouse keeper in Tasmania.
