English: Jo Ann Miller (1932–2006) served a single term in the Alaska House of Representatives in the 1970s. She was part of the Alaska regional management team of J. C. Penney at the time of her election to the House. She was later known for various controversies involving attempts by hikers to access portions of Chugach State Park through her property on the rural outskirts of Anchorage.
