Català: Joan Sardà i Dexeus (Barcelona, 1910 - 1995). Economista. Professor de la Universitat de Barcelona, Santiago de Compostela, Caracas i la Complutense de Madrid, va ser també l'impulsor de la creació de la Facultat d'Economia de la Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Va col·laborar en el diari L'Opinió i després en la revista Economia i Finances. Està considerat com l'inspirador del pla Nacional d'Estabilització Econòmica del 1959. També ha rebut la Creu de Sant Jordi (1882) i la Medalla al Mèrit Científic de l'Ajuntament de Barcelona.
