English: Utah's Wild Horse Butte consists of Jurassic-aged sedimentary rocks. The irregular cliff-forming unit at the top is the Upper Jurassic Morrison Formation. The prominent vertical cliff below that and the underlying reddish-brown slope are the Summerville Formation. The grayish unit is the Curtis Formation. The underying reddish-brown unit is the Middle Jurassic Entrada Sandstone.
Locality: Wild Horse Butte, near Goblin Valley, east-central Utah, USA (38° 34' 43.50" North latitude, 110° 43' 13.40" West longitude)
