English: Shield for Kappa Phi Lambda fraternity. It is described in Baird's Manual of American College Fraternities as a "shield, displaying at the top a balance; immediately below, a sunburst and mountain, and beneath, a pennant bearing the letters "ΚΦΛ."
Date likely circa 1860s, the founding of the fraternity. At the latest, the shield was designed by 1874, the date of the fraternity's dissolution
