Description
English: Keris Alang of Pahang. This is a ceremonial Keris awarded by the Sultan to territorial chiefs to represent the power and authority. It was also used to perform execution for high crimes. The Keris is originated from Jerantut, Pahang and used in the 18th century. The Hulu (hilt) is made of coral root (antipathes abies), pendokok from copper, and the blade is from steel.
