Author W. Bagshaw (photo). Probably Walter Bagshaw, the author of Elementary photo-micrography (1902) [2]. His address was given in this book as Moorfield House, Birkenshaw near Bradford. According to [3] he was also a mechanical engineer, born 19 August 1851 at Dewsbury, d. 26 April 1927, manager of John Bagshaw and Sons, Victoria Foundry (founded by his father), the first President of Batley Technical School, and the founder of the Bagshaw Museum.
