Note: This photo is NOT from 1945. Krueger was much younger looking in 1945. See the Humphrey Bogart film Sahara for verification. This is a publicity photo from the 1957 film, The Enemy Below. The signature on the photo is valid, it's just not from 1945. The uniform he is wearing matches the one he wore in The Enemy Below. Note that it is also a Kriegsmarine uniform, the one worn by U-boat crew.
