English: The LMS installed an unusual colour light signalling system on two London suburban railway lines, these being on the Euston - Watford dc (local) lines and on the LTS route from Fenchurch Street that was largely shared with District Railway services to Upminster.
This image shows a junction signal at Willesden Junction station. The green signal is for the line towards Euston / Elephant & Castle / Broad Street via Primrose Hill. The route to the left with the red signal leads to the North London Line and was used by trains to Broad Street via Hampstead Heath. The junction is out of sight just beyond the bridge abutment.
Filmed by me in 1986, shortly before the line was resignalled.
